WELCOME

Located in the heart of Sonoma County, the Oliver Ranch is a picturesque 100-acre property home to 18 remarkable site-specific installations by 20 award-winning artists spanning 35 years. Together these artists have transformed the ranch into a unique, one-of-a-kind outdoor museum that is harmonious with the surrounding environment.

We’re pleased to share a video from a tour of Oliver Ranch, led by Steve Oliver. It offers a unique opportunity to experience Oliver Ranch with Steve as your guide. As the ranch is currently undergoing work and tours are temporarily paused, we are pleased to share this video as a way for those interested to get a glimpse of the extraordinary artwork, landscape, and spirit of the ranch. We hope you enjoy this special look inside Oliver Ranch and the stories Steve shares along the way.

One work at Oliver Ranch was created after this tour was filmed: Doug Hall’s Wittgenstein’s Garden, completed in 2018. As it did not yet exist when Steve Oliver led this tour, you will not see it in the video. We invite you to explore the separate footage of Wittgenstein’s Garden here and discover this remarkable addition to the ranch’s landscape.
